Amarillo TEXAS Man Fired from Job for Offensive Costume at Company Halloween Party
An Amarillo man is now without a job after being fired by his manager for showing up to the company Halloween party dressed as a terrorist.
Anthony Bianchi says the costume was meant to be funny and harmless, but as soon as he arrived at the party, most people in attendance were upset and uncomfortable. “This whole thing is an unfortunate misunderstanding. The whole point of the joke is that I’m a Jäger-bomber. I’m not even from that part of the world—I’m an Italian guy raised in Texas. I thought the people I worked with were fun and cool, but I guess they’re far from it. Looks like I learned my lesson” said Mr. Bianchi.
The company Bianchi worked for released a statement saying that their business has no place for offensive or inappropriate behavior. They also claimed this wasn’t his first run-in with HR. Last year, he allegedly asked a female employee if he could “sample some of her milk.”

Halloween 2007, we had a guy that had just come back from Afghanistan as a contractor for 2 years. He had the original garb. I also had a coworker who had just got out of the Army 3 months prior and had returned from Iraq 6 months before that. We were having a costume contest. I was dressed as a Hooters girl, D slipped into the shop bathroom to change. B (Army veteran, who was in regular company uniform not participating) and I were BSing he was laughing at me as I told him how I had worn it the night before and actually went to Hooters and they wouldn’t let me serve. All of a sudden we hear this jihadi scream and D comes running out of the shop bathroom original afghan garb and head covered (can’t see it’s just D), with what looks like (at a distance) a REAL bomb vest and an ACTUAL (unloaded) AK47. I see B flinch like he was attempting to grab a rifle, just to see his eyes widen when he realizes he doesn’t have a weapon and spins and bolts out the shop. D quickly puts 2+2 together, stops yelling uncovers his head with a shocked fast. I tell D, wait here let me go find him.
I finally find B stationed squatted behind a generator hyperventilating breathing. I hugged him and told him it was just D fucking around. B stood up, hugged me and stated he did not suffer from flashbacks at all,But that was the realist shit he had seen and it instantly transported him back to Iraq. After a few moments D approached in just the robe part of the costume..
After that we howled laughing at what had just gone down. No one fired, no one disciplined. I won the contest btw. 🤣😂 B also told D, “you’re lucky I didn’t have a weapon or I would have double tapped your ass. I panicked when I realized I didn’t have my rifle.”
Costume is funny. Sounds like they regretted not firing him over the milk incident which I will admit, is pretty damn wild to say to a woman. Haha I’m sure he will land on his feet somewhere 😂
It would make more sense if he was wearing a lederhosen since he’s specifically referring to Jäger.
The middle eastern stereotype is in quite poor taste, especially to a company party.
Comedy, and humor by extension, should be shocking and risk being offensive. Granted, he is not a comic by trade, but it was a joke – and damned funny to those of us with a sense of humor and no sticks up our asses.
Can you provide the name of his former employer so I can make sure I never accidentally do business with them? I wish I owned a business so I could hire this guy.
Bold for a company party lmao but technically if there werent rules set out beforehand they shouldn’t fire someone over crude humor. Sounds like he has a history of crude humor sooooo why is anyone surprised or upset?
