Woman arrested after beating up boyfriend because he refused a threesome

A woman was arrested after allegedly assaulting her boyfriend when he refused to take part in a threesome she had proposed with a female friend.

According to police, 47-year-old Angel Lynn Curl became enraged when both her boyfriend and the invited woman declined her suggestion of group sex.

Officers were called to Curl’s Clearwater, Florida apartment shortly after midnight on Sunday following reports that she had struck her partner “multiple times in the face with a closed fist.”

The arrest affidavit states that Curl had invited the second woman over “to engage in sexual activity,” but turned violent after her proposal was rejected.

Police say the boyfriend, who had been seated on the living room couch during the incident, was repeatedly punched in the face.

The female friend witnessed the alleged assault but was not harmed.

Curl was arrested at approximately 1:15 a.m. and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.

She was later released on bail under the condition that she have no contact with the victim.

According to the report, Curl denied hitting her boyfriend when questioned by officers.

The affidavit noted that no weapon was involved and there was no suggestion of drug use or mental health issues, though alcohol was believed to be a factor.

The names of the boyfriend and the second woman were not released.
